According to the information found on the IAESTE official website: “We serve 4000 students, 3000 employers and 1000 academic institutions through career-focused professional internships abroad, social and intercultural reception programs, international networking and other career and employer branding activities in over 80 countries worldwide”. According to the data available in Activity Report, but also presented during the General Conference, there is a decreasing tendency in our Exchange Program. The numbers are dropping down not only due to lower interest of students, other opportunities – but also due to lowering quality of the offers, high percentage of cancellations, long waiting time from sending the nomination to receiving an answer. This implies the credibility of IAESTE exchange program. One of the aspects that all IAESTE countries should focus on is communication between National Committees – as this is a crucial aspect of making the exchange happen.
